Strong cognitive skills also provide a critical foundation for building language, reading, and math skills. After using Scientific Learning products, students in the Craven County Schools made significant gains in their reading skills and achievement. These results replicate other studies and suggest that using the Fast ForWord products and Reading Assistant software strengthened the students’ foundational skills and better positioned them to benefit from the classroom curriculum.
