Robert E. Feller to Join Scientific Learning as Chief Financial Officer

Oakland, Calif. - December 12, 2008 - Scientific Learning Corporation (NASDAQ:SCIL) today announced that Robert E. Feller will join the Company as its new Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Feller has 18 years of financial leadership and auditing experience, including positions in financial management experience at both Fortune 500 and startup firms.   

Robert C. Bowen, Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We are delighted that Bob is joining us.  He brings us both strategic and hands-on experience in financial planning, accounting and systems implementation.  His experience in software, hardware and consumer products companies, and in companies both small and large and public and private, offers us a valuable perspective." 

Mr. Feller comes to us from AdBrite, Inc., which operates an Internet-based advertising marketplace, and where Mr. Feller served as Vice President, Finance and Administration.  Prior to AdBrite, he served in financial leadership positions of increasing responsibility at salesforce.com, a leading provider of Internet-based customer relationship management software; his last position at salesforce.com was as Vice President, Finance.   Mr. Feller began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen, LLP.  He holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a BA from the University of Michigan.
