What is a webinar like?

A webinar is an event that enables people to learn directly from experts over the Internet. Webinars combine an Internet presentation with a phone conference. Participants can watch and listen to the presentation, ask questions, and engage in discussion—all online.

How do I participate?

  1. Choose a session to attend and register for that session.
  2. Save the confirmation email you receive, and keep an eye out for the reminder emails you will receive In the days leading up to your webinar.
  3. At the scheduled time, join the webinar online by clicking the link in your confirmation email or reminder email.
  4. Remember to also dial the conference call phone number in the email so you can hear the presentation.
  5. Watch the presenter show slides on your computer screen while listening to the presentation on your telephone.
  6. Interact and ask questions via the chat screen.
