Would you like to win an expensed paid trip to the 2010 Visionary Conference? Once again Scientific Learning Corporation (SLC) would like to honor one of our esteemed clinical professionals in the United States and Canada for excellence in implementation of Scientific Learning products.
For the 2009 Visionary Conference, 16 nominations were received for 7 providers:Geri Drexler, Beverly Gough, Janet Krebs, Dana Marie Merritt, Ann Osterling, Anita Werner, Maxine Young
The recipient of the Fourth Annual Pat Wilson Award was Dana Marie Merritt.
Description of the Award:
The Pat Wilson award is presented annually at the Visionary Conference to a private provider who continues the tradition of excellence exemplified by Dr. Pat Wilson. Each year a private provider who demonstrates the same qualities of professional outreach and education, leadership skills, innovation, clinical excellence, and quality implementation will be selected for the award based on nominations by clients, families of clients, other private providers, and/or the Nomination Committee. Details of the award are as follows:
The Nomination Committee consists of the Director, Clinical Specialist Market, Vice President of Marketing, and Private Provider Relations Specialist, along with three members of our private provider community.
Providers may apply by sending testimonials about use of Scientific Learning products as well as pre- and post-test data confirming results of Scientific Learning products and other services from parents, participants (if adult age), or colleagues.
Parents, participants, and colleagues may also send testimonials directly to SLC to nominate their provider.
The author of the testimonial must agree that the substance of the testimonial may be used by SLC although the name need not be published.
The Nomination Committee will evaluate the entries as well as make additional nominations and select a winner.
The award will be presented at the annual Scientific Learning Visionary Conference, the Winner will receive a plaque honoring their quality of service, plus the winner will receive airfare (up to $600.00) and 2-nights paid accommodations to the Visionary Conference.
The award will be publicized on the Clinical Professionals Website and in regular written and e-mail correspondence to providers.
