Position Summary
Responsible for selling the company's products to school districts in a specific geographic area.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Sell product through established relationships with school district superintendents, school boards and Curriculum and Technology Directors.
- Meet or exceed sales goals.
- Work closely with the implementation team to ensure repeat sales.
Requirements
- Experienced educational Sales Account Manager (minimum 3-5 years experience).
- Contacts at the superintendent and Board of Education levels preferred.
- Curriculum and Technology Director contacts a plus.
- College Degree required (public school teaching experience a plus).
- Must have experience selling technology products to schools or state and local governments.
- Must be technology and Internet proficient
- Must have a proven track record in selling complex, multiple buyer accounts.
- Results-oriented, detail-oriented team player.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to quickly grasp, and communicate, technical and scientific concepts.
- Interest in empowering parents to find effective learning approaches for their children.
